About

Greetings all. My name is Jeremiah, and I am the writer. That’s my son and I you see above. πŸ™‚

Anyway… You’ve found yourself within the Heartsphere.

This blog serves as my own conduit for expressing what I consider to be intimate thoughts, or forms of thought, based loosely on the concept of the Noosphere.

You will find a little bit of everything here, but mostly a bunch of swirling thoughts with endearing intentions. I’m not concerned if anyone else ever reads these pages but me, but of course all are welcome here to comment and read as they wish.

Additionally, though I try to continue to write on this blog regularly, I’ve taken to writing on Medium much more frequently. If you’d like to follow my work on Medium, you can link to it below:

Jeremiah Stephen on Medium

A little about me:

I write for a living as a copywriter and masquerade as an artist. I’m currently a full-time student pursuing a B.A. in Philosophy. I’m an avid traveler, and I’ve also spent nearly twenty years in the hospitality industry as a bartender. Though I’m more internally focused on the intimate and powerful nature of the heart, when I’m not working for other winsome creatives or out “in the world,” I enjoy exploring a broader range of elusive and often overlooked concepts through conversations, intimations and affirmations with the Heartmind.

More importantly, with this blog I hope to illustrate nuance and inspire the development and awareness of a truly divine space that lives silently within us all; the bond that exists between the heart and the mind.

As with my previous blog, Knowthesphere, the heart of this blog lives to serve as a voice; a voice in the promotion of inspiration, hope, love and compassion that exists when we fully attune to our heartmind, our heartsphere.

Hopefully you’ll find all of those wonderful things here. πŸ™‚

I must also mention that my first book Sphere(s) was written seemingly out of chance by writing on my first blog, and with the help of its many contributing followers; followers and friends whose comments I’ve both acknowledged and learned from along the way. Again, I thank all for their contributions.

Thank you for visiting. With so many brilliant and creative minds in the world, I’m happy to be a part of such wonderful company here.

Godspeed as you seek.

  4. Jeremiah…. I noted you stopped by my blog, and decided to follow it; thanks for that! I’m glad you enjoyed today’s post….and I love to meet new readers. I’ve hit the Follow for your site, so I’ll be able to see whatever new posts you put up. Feel free to drop by my page anytime; I post every day, mostly for the reasons you’ve cited above. Writing is my personal form of self-therapy, and since I’ve been pretty crazy most of my life, it’s very useful in that respect…. πŸ™‚ Take care out there…I’ll see you around WordPress….

  5. Hi Jeremiah! Thanks for your like on my post which connected us. I look forward to reading yours. It seems that you are also in your own way peeling the onion πŸ™‚

  10. Hi friend, thanks for following my blog. You’re a freelance writer? How exciting! By the comments here, I see you are a good networker, too. I look forward to browsing around in your writing. – Laura

    1. You’re welcome! Enjoying your blog. I do write for a living but have stayed out of the blog world up until recently. It is quite enjoyable, a nice break from actually working πŸ˜‰

  11. I was thinking of the circles in my life and your words seemed to echo on the wind…

  12. It’s okay to respond to the people who mention God. It’s just a cultural affectation. Repressive, yes. Conversationally deadending, yes. But you can respond to them and not their madness.

I highly recommend the scene in the 2008 movie “Happy Go Lucky” in which the hero connects with a homeless guy.

    1. Not sure what you meant. But I welcome all dialogue. I do try to respond to everyone, though I’ve been getting quite a bit more comments than I expected, some slip through. Thanks for stopping by!

  13. I have to tell you, which I’m sure you know… everything happens for a reason. You ‘liked’ something on my page which led me to yours. I cannot even begin to tell you how the synchronicity is blowing my mind. You are literally writing the things I think about, & meditate on, on a daily basis. I cannot wait to read more of your ‘musings’, ‘teachings’, & ‘words of wisdom’. Not to mention my name is half of yours… (Maia). I suppose I could go on and on… but needed to reach out and tell you how much I am enjoying what you are writing here. Great minds… and the same state no less!

  14. Thanks for the follow, I like the little niche you’ve carved for yourself here. Interesting to read the thoughts of someone that knows what basement-thoughts are worth voicing.

  15. Cheers!
Thanks for dropping by my blog and for following it.
    Yours looks really interesting too.
It feels so relaxing to read thoughts without dogmas, but also having an aim, a purpose. That’s a balance really difficult to achieve.
    Let’s stay connected.

  16. Hi! Thank you for visiting my blog. It’s brand new so a little skimpy right now…I have to tell you Jeremiah how wonderful it is to read your thoughts…so on line with my own thinking but perhaps expressed more succinctly. I so look forward to exploring your blog more fully. You have very ‘telling’ eyes…a Soldier of Light indeed!! Many Blessings

  17. Hi Jeremiah! I am new to the blogging world and still practicing on my writing. So it was really a wonderful surprise that you dropped by and followed my blog too. Thank you!!!
Wow!!! You write very well indeed. I am reading your blogs and enjoying them. I like your thoughts. Keep them coming. πŸ™‚

  18. Hi Man thanks for following my blog. I like your Bruce Lee Article. Mr. Lee is one of my Hero. The Grandfather of MMA. and a Great Philosopher. You have unique and interesting blog. More power…. Nonoy Manga.

  19. I like your zen-like vibe, Jeremiah, a nice mix of attachment and detatchment. Funny how many of us are thinking writing and reading between the lines of spirituality and philosophy, culture and reality. Thank you for looking in on my blog, I appreciate your interest.

  20. Hi Jeremiah,

You have a really nice blog up here. I like how your deep thoughts are reflected in your writing. It’s soul-uplifting, and I’m enjoying what I’ve been reading so far! So well done on this! πŸ™‚

I noticed most of your posts are reflection of life, philosophy kind of thing! Mine are too. Well, in quite different way. My reflection is written in flash fiction. If you’re interested, you’re more than welcome to visit my blog. Here are the links to some of my flash fiction:

  24. Just wanted to drop by and thank you for following my blog! It seems like you’ve got a lot of interesting wisdom to share here, so I’m sure you won’t mind me returning the favour. πŸ™‚

  25. What a wonderful blog you have here! You are an exceptional writer!

And a thank you for subscribing to my blog! I hope that I can entertain you with my ramblings on food and my commentaries. And I hope that I can delight your eyes and heart with my photos! Barb

As for my name? It is a lie. I am only 5’10.And I am not a bear I just hug like one apparently!

  27. Thank you for visiting my blog at Minkyweasel World and for subscribing too. So you live in upstate NY? Wouldn’t be anywhere near Unadilla would it? I know a couple of folk who live there. I spent some time there a couple of years ago. Lovely place.

    Shirley Anne x

  28. Hi Jeremiah. Thanks for following the firstgates. I looked at some of your posts and decided to do the same. Is that Joshua Tree in the background of your photo? It’s been quite a while, but I always enjoyed going through there and camping for a day or two in the rocks.

  29. Greetings! I followed your follow, and now am following you as well. You follow? πŸ™‚

Thanks for putting your perspective out there for the read. I’m finding it to be interesting and beautifully written.

  30. Hey Jeremiah!
I enjoyed your expression of yourself… I love the metaphor: “it’s beneficial to know the sphere, whatever sphere you may be focused on at the time, but at the same time, remember that its the whole that we’re all a part of.”
“Infalling” serves me the same way, I’m getting to know my sphere. I agree that it is our duty and purpose in this world. To belong, to be whole and to be a part of THE WHOLE!! Thank you! You are another blessing that crosses my way! πŸ™‚
    Will follow!
Sending many good thoughts! x J.

  31. I will add the same Thank You for visiting my blog and likewise hope that you find something that gives reason for a thought or even a memory. I look forward to exploring your blog as well.

  32. Namaste brother! Thanks for the follow! I think we may just be slighlty kindred in spirit. If you werent in NY I would invite you to one of our weekly meetings! Don’t be a stranger!

  33. Hi Jeremiah –

    With best wishes,
    Carrie πŸ™‚

  34. Thank you for supporting my blog. I sincerely appreciate it.

I love what you are doing here man. Very interesting content and your writing style has a very relaxed tone. Kinda has that conversation of a Starbucks feel to it.

  35. Thanks for the follow! Back at ya…I’ll be following too. Always a pleasure to meet someone that just gets it. Love your recent post and the quote β€œYou can take a candle into a dark room and light it up, but you can’t take darkness into a well lit room and make it dim.” Literally had this same conversation with my 9 year old last night. She was worried her light would dim when her sister was having a moment to shine. Here’s to lighting up the sphere, one post at a time.

  36. Hey Jeremiah, thanks for dropping by my blog, otherwise I’d have never discovered your amazing writing. So candid, so vulnerable, so transparent – definitely gets one thinking (& inspired, regardless of their beliefs) because it’s evidently written from the deep well that is your soul. I am going to have to re-blog a lot of stuff from here ;p

    1. Thank you, your blog is quite artistic.. I enjoy it. This is my form of self expression. I can only hope to spread a few good vibes in the process πŸ˜‰ Please re-blog as much as you wish!

    1. My mother actually named me because Robert Redford–whom she had a crush on–played in the movie Jeremiah Johnson, but.. Yes, Jeremiah is the name of a biblical prophet in the Old Testament. πŸ˜‰

  37. Thanks for stopping by. I don’t blog to be noticed, especially since my (amateur) writing is simply my thoughts, but I appreciate the follow. I have enjoyed your writing and look forward to reading more.

  38. Hi! Just wanted to thank you so much for following my blog– I really love what I’ve seen of yours too.

Thanks for your support! I’m hoping to get some really cool stuff up there soon.

  39. Hi Jeremiah,

Thanks for tagging onto my blog. It means a lot to me (really) when folks take the time to read and follow.

If these are the thoughts that are rolling around in the basement of your mind, the ones residing in the top stories must be insanely awesome! I greatly enjoyed reading your posts and look forward to reading more in the future. Is there a “follow” button or did I just miss it?

    Thanks for everything…be encouraged!

  40. Thanks for the visit NOLA (correct me if I’m wrong but you did mention that crazy hurricane). What I wouldn’t give to be down in your neck of the woods right now. Especially with the st. Patty’s/jospeh’s parades coming up.

  41. Hi Jeremiah, thanks for the follow. You have such an awesome blog, just read your posts, you certainly are a brilliant writer. Following you too now & really looking forward to reading all your new posts. Keep up the great work!!

  42. I am new at blogging and when I was thinking of starting it, a horrid thought crossed my mind – what if none will read it? well, it only seemed horrid until I realized that it doesn’t really matter… afterall, blogging is not a competition, but rather a form of expression… I am glad I am not the only one to think so!
So, to sphere or not to sphere? πŸ™‚

  43. Hi just to let you know I nominated you for the very inspiring blogger award and the sunshine award go to my blog and its the post called thank you to mary for passing on the awards! πŸ™‚

I’m not quite sure what will be its full purpose, but I do know that once I find it, I will emphasise (*British English) it to the best of my abilities. 51. Hi Jeremiah! I want to thank you for reading my posts and for deciding to follow my writing. What started as a New Year’s resolution has turned a new leaf with a passion, desire, and yearning to post new and exciting topics that some may find inspiring and read worthy!

      1. I will definitely acknowledge that and post soon. I also see we’re practically neighbors, I’m a good 12 miles from the Canadian border! πŸ™‚

  52. Hi . Thanks for your follow here in the begining of me bloging journey. Your musings look interesting and in line with my interests so I look forward to taking some time to read your blogs and what will come. Much light fron Vancouver Island.
    Pernille

  53. Jeremiah, thanks so much for dropping by and subscribing, I appreciate the compliment. Great work you’re doing here! Super cool.
    All the best,
    Pamela

  54. Enjoying your pensive musings. I like to read insightful and introspective writing. Keep up the good work! Thanks for the follow too!
    ~Sarah

  55. Thanks for following my blog … I find yours quite refreshing to read. I really enjoy the way you put your thoughts into writing. Very insighful and enlightening in this world today πŸ˜‰ Keep posting, and I’ll keep reading.
    Jen

      1. Oh, I’m here for a while alright πŸ˜‰ This is my way of venting when frustrated in life. Also, my way of sharing the small tid-bits in my life that do make me happy. Where about’s are you located?

      2. ok, excuse my dumassness, but what is BFE? lol and, NY is my dream vacation, by the way πŸ˜‰ I’m in Vancouver, BC Canada … city just outside Vancouver actually.

      3. Excuse my crude reply, but BFE = Bum-Fuck Egypt.. basically, I’m in the far north country of New york about 12 miles from Canada. BC is awesome! spent a week there a few years ago.

      4. That’s hilarious. Your excused … hahaha!! No worries about language with this girl LOL … And, you must spend more than a week in BC my friend. where did you visit when you came?

      5. Good deal πŸ˜‰ I definitely didn’t want to leave. But I spent a few days on Vancouver Island and a few days in Stein Valley and Mehatl Creek parks.

      6. oh really, I lived on Vancouver Island for a few years .. Had my daughter there, In Nanaimo, BC. I LOVE it there and in Victoria. I like the ‘busy cities’. That’s why NY excites me so much!! Are you on Facebook

      7. oh, I deleted my twitter account. It got too much with Facebook, twitter, wordpress, my space, etc. Now, just facebook, wordpress and linkden for me.

  56. What an incredible time I just had reading your posts! Some made me laugh, some brought tears to my eyes and some were beautiful thought-provoking moments. Much gratitude to you Jeremiah!
I just chuckled through the interchange above this one about where you live. Especially because I live in “upstate NY”, at least that’s what we call it and it’s much further south from you- Albany.
Thanks for following my blog because it gave me the opportunity to come here and enjoy yours! Where’s your subscribe button? I only see the RSS entry feed.
    Jan

    1. Thank you! Yes, it is upstate, they call it the north country up here though. I might have accidently moved the subscribe widget, but the follow button is at the top left of the page I believe.

  57. Perfect! Thanks…
Funny, we call it the north country too. My husband travels all over the state for his business and calls everything from Glens Falls north to Canada the “north country”.
Anyway, I’m glad you decided to share your thoughts in written form.

  58. Thanks for stopping by my blog and for choosing to follow me. It’s something new for me. God bless you.

  59. Thank you for being my first “follower”. I am a first time blogger, so it was a big deal to me. Look forward to getting to know you through your words.

  60. Hey you fabulous you! You are nominated for the Academy Award Winning Writers Association for…drumroll…The Most Versatile! The Academy would like to thank you for your unending/unwavering awesomeness from yours truly @ Random Acts. Don’t forget me in your acceptance speech! Kiss, kiss, hugs all around!

  61. Fabulous blog here. Very, very insightful. I’m impressed! Glad to be β€œfollowing” and thank you for following the Dianoilogos blog also. Eagerly awaiting your next posts, especially after the ones I see you did on March 15th, the 17th, and now today, the 18th. You touch on some very important points in these pieces and I’m happy to have read them. Looking forward to your upcoming entries.

    Luke Rondinaro
    Dianoilogos

  62. Jeremiah,
I noticed you began following me. I have finally had a chance to read some of your entries, and I really like your style and heart-felt insights. I will “catch up” on some of your older stuff, and of course begin to follow you.

  63. Hi Jeremiah, thank you for stopping by my blog and following it. Looking forward to reading your thoughts about your “sphere” πŸ™‚

  64. Hi there! I wanted to thank you very much for the follow. I have been monitoring my view count for several minutes waiting to tick over to 11, 000 and I think you might have been the golden number! So thanks again!

Look forward to reading more of your word πŸ™‚

    Louise.

  65. Hello, kind sir. Thank you for dropping by my blog and finding me at least interesting enough to click “Follow”. πŸ˜‰

I look forward to reading your inner most thoughts and life lessons πŸ™‚ Please stop by mine often and let me know how you feel it could be better. It’s getting a complete overhaul this year so would love a manly input so I can cater more to you guys too!!! Keep up the writing! Much love.

    AlexAndrea

  69. Thought I would pop in and say thank you for reading, “I Am Your Mother” at Texas Moose House. I have really enjoyed reading your articles. You have a style of writing and thought process I can easily relate to and I love your pondering ways. Looks like you have a new fan! See you in the blogosphere.

  70. Hi, thanks for following my blog. It’s always great to learn that another person has enjoyed your work, and I am happy that you liked my writing enough to follow. I am actually glad too that I get to read your work as well now, and I guess that’s one of the great things about this online universe is that you can easily find other people interested in the same things as you are. I look forward to reading your stuff. Thanks again.

  71. Hi, Jeremiah. Thank for following my blog. Love your writing and your background. I had a profound relationship with a hamster, too. Look forward to hearing more of what you share. All the best.

  72. You have such a unique voice. Glad you found my blog! I look forward to reading more of your things. The hamster story made my heart hurt (the little soul). It was a great piece πŸ™‚

  73. Hey there, Jeremiah!

Thank you for sharing your work, and thank you for taking the time to read through mine. I appreciate the follow!

  74. Thanks for the follow – enjoy your writing! I would love to be a free-lance writer too, and maybe in my spare time. That is if I can find any πŸ˜€ Keep up the great work!!

  75. Now, I have read your blog and will “follow” yours. You are very thoughtful. I like your approach to writing and agree that it is important to merely “put it out there” and let come what may. T. S. Eliot suggested that we “offer our deeds to oblivion” and I think that is very important. What happens after we have made that offering is not our business. You have offered one of these “deeds” and it has spoken to me and will speak to others and will continue to reverberate throughout this void that we live in.

  76. Something about your writing draws me in, and I have only just begun. Love everything I’ve read here so far, love the way your mind works, how you feel about ‘life.’ So glad I found my way here, thanks to your visit to my blog. I’ll be coming back often, and following back. Enjoy your day.

      1. Its unique in the sense that you write what you think and feel. Not many can do this on a public forum. The only advice I can give is to keep writing, you’ll only get better the more you express yourself. And dig deep, when the soul speaks everyone will hear it. Best wishes πŸ˜‰

  77. “Know the sphere,” a very philosophical concept. I like it. Thanks for stopping by my blog. I noticed you have a “Philosophy” link. Perhaps, after I upload some more content, you will find some interesting information on my blog.

  78. Hey, Thanks for following my blog! It’s always a joy to get followed by talented writers like yourself – I’ll definitely come back and read often! God Bless!

  79. “…but at the same time, remember that its the whole that we’re all a part of.” YES! We are all neighbors, as I like to say.
Hello there, Jeremiah. What an honor to have such a talented, gifted writer as yourself follow my blog; thank you so much. I’ll be back for more.

    Blessings,
    Dulcinea πŸ™‚

  80. Hey there, Sunshine. I’m sure you get this all the time…I nominated you for The Sunshine Award. Congrats! You’ve brought the sunshine in with you! Your friend, Stephanie@Random Acts

  81. hello jeremiah πŸ™‚ i appreciate the visit to my newly ventured blog. πŸ™‚ caught your “follow” and came by for a visit. Intrigued and spurred by your writing and your own story… I’m fairly certain, though that I would need to read more to really get to know the writer himself. I’m not a “surface” kind of person so I like to know those that step into my “sphere” πŸ˜‰ . SO … now your in and I am glad to have the opportunity to get to know the person and the writer. Freelance huh? inspiring and exciting… as well as leaving me a bit curious.

well… I was just about to get into my devotions and got caught with my cup of coffee here… πŸ™‚ may you be encouraged on your adventure we call life and sharing it with others.

    sincerely .. jeanette

  82. Many thanks for following my blog, Knowthesphere! It’s so gratifying to me to have a follower who is a writer and a dude. πŸ™‚ You provide lots of food for thought here—I’ll visit often.

  83. Thank you very much for following my blog. You have a very interesting blog. I look forward to reading more. Like many others, your “About” is interesting and well written, unlike mine. Someday I will take the time to write a well thought out “About.”

  84. Good evening (or is it morning?)…

Thank you for becoming my first follower (I know that I am not Jesus Christ).
I enjoyed the mood of your piece on the events (personal and otherwise) surrounding Hurricane Katrina and will check out more of your work.

You seem to have pretty well put together page so any feedback you would care to give someone as green as myself would be appreciated.

    Cheers

    Joe

  85. How very nice! Yes, I did come by to see if the reference was really to noosphere, but also because it seemed likely given the post you happened to visit at my blog. So, thanks for coming by to introduce yourself, and I’ll look forward to getting to knowthesphere here too.
    Cheers,
    Kathryn

  86. Thankyou for the follow Jeremiah. I read with interest your piece about Katrina and your loss. In 2006 I was in Thailand and came across an old man who had lost everthing as well as many friends in the tsunami. He told me in broken english that they take a lot from the sea and this time the sea took from them. A typical Thai Buhddist outlook for sure but one worth remembering.

    Graham

    1. You know, I can’t imagine what on earth it would feel like to experience such devastation… It’s amazing to see the zen-like outlook that some people still manage to muster. Wow.

  87. I love your philosophical outlook on everything that I have read thus far. Reading your writing is infectious. You are a talented writer and I look forward to following your future posts.

  88. Hello,
Thank you for following my blog!
It is nice to “meet” you, Jeremiah.
I really enjoy your blog, your work is amazing!

    Best,
    Arubella

  89. With every blog you force me to take five minutes for myself, to contemplate your words…

  90. Hey Pal,
Grateful that you are following my blog dedicated to highlighting issues around gender based violence and rights of minorities in Africa. While your inspiration bubbles from your basement, I wake-up to the roars of the lions from the Nairobi National park which is hut adjacent to my hut. I am also a professional and seasoned journalist seeking opportunities to write even further. Any Ideas!!!!.

    Keep up the great work

    Sincerely,

    Wanjala Wafula

  91. Hello Jeremiah,

We have almost the same purpose for writing a blog. Mine is to learn about writing. We have a big difference though: I am not a published writer. I write only here in my blog.

Thanks for expressing that part, I am encouraged!
I might as well learn from you!
    God bless you!

    Arnold

  92. Emotions & Knowing the Sphere..thats got me written all over it!

Thanks for welcoming me into this blogging experience, hence allowing me to experience yours.

As an artist, thoughts & language are the key to inspiration & emotions make it come alive! Doing what we love & are passionate about it is the key to our soal.

I live my life by this Whakatauki (Maori Proverb):

‘Tama Tu, Tama Ora, Tama Noho, Tama Mate’.
    ‘Stand, Live, Sit, Die’

It basically means that if we stand up & get involved – we will succeed. If we sit & do nothing – we wont.

Your writing is amazing & i look forward to reading more : )

  93. Jeremiah
Love the Mayan motif. Thanks for following the blog. I hope you enjoy the work.

    Bryan

  94. Thanks for following my poetry blog. I read through a few of your posts and admire all the questions you throw out. Though breeds thought and I enjoyed reflecting on your ideas.

  95. Hi there! Thanks for following my blog πŸ™‚ Just wanted to drop a quick note and let you know that I have moved over to wordpress.org, so to continue receiving updates, you may have to sign up via email or RSS at http://ringfingertanline.com
    Confusing, I know… but worth it πŸ˜‰

  96. Jeremiah,

I am very glad to have run into. I feel like we have many thoughts and ideas to share. I look forward to hearing from you in the future.

  97. I may be just a goose, but it appears you’ve got some thought-provoking jam going on here, so I”ll be following to see where you go with it. All the sweetest blessings on you, Jeremiah.

  98. Jeremiah, thanks for following This Perfect World. I must admit, I really like to see that notification. Would love to hear how you found the blog and what motivated you to follow it! I like your metaphor of bringing things out of the basement… keep it up! Blessings!

  99. I was told previously that a follow was the sincerest form of flattery for a blogger. I am truly honored.

  100. I decided to stop by after checking some of my statistics and finding your link amongst my readers. Whilst the content spaces me out just a little, the prose itself is interesting. Hopefully sometime soon we might be able to talk shop somewhat, as despite how I look to people, I am still trying so hard to just get off the ground. May all that you write in future come easily and be well-understood. *nod*

  101. this is late but thank you for stopping by my blog and for the follow! im so new to this site so it was comforting to get a follower after what i thought was a boring entry haha. you have a lovely blog and im excited to see more from you!

also i saw you are from upstate NY. i have a cousin who lives up there that i recently visited. it’s absolutely beautiful up there. i am insanely jealous.

    anyway, best wishes!
    K

    1. Thanks for stopping in! Your blog is very cool. I enjoy your fresh perspective and the common sense that you express so easily.

The desire path actually caught my attention. Its is one if my favorite natural life expressions. Its a great metaphor for life journeys.

And I’ve only been living here in NY a few months but you’re absolutely right, gorgeous!

      Best wishes, J πŸ™‚

  102. Listen with the heart, express with the soul.
    I love that!

Thanks for stopping by, looking forward to the contents of whats in the your basement. I often find some sort of treasure in mine.

  103. Thanks for the follow! I was surprised when I logged back on to see that you had found my first first post. I’m glad you liked it enough to be my first follower. I’ve read your first few posts and enjoyed them tremendously. I’m excited to go back and read your other posts.

  104. Hiya, thanks so much for stopping by and choosing to follow my blog, it means a lot to me πŸ™‚ Your writing is real food for thought, inspiring, refreshing and touching. I look forward to reading more! β™₯

  105. Read through some of your posts, and it hit me that it’s good to know more people have their heads on the right way. Keep writing from the heart. πŸ™‚ Also, thank you for stopping by my blog which is in its very early stages, and for taking an interest – I too hope to inspire.

  106. I mentioned you on my blog today. I got my first nomination for Inspirational Blog and I know you have received a few awards already but I did mention you because I love reading your words and hearing your thoughts. So it was important for me to mention you.
Thanks for your wonderful blog and sharing your being with all of us.

  107. Just have to say, I really enjoy your blog, and how frequently your thoughts stir up my own. It’s really refreshing to hear from the male sphere as well, it seems like it’s rare to hear the philosophical side of men, in recent generations. . . And that is a loss to be mourned.

Either way, I love your writing, and will continue reading when I have the time.

    -Anne

  108. Hello, Jeremiah–

I wanted to thank you for following my blog and tell you how honored I am that you’ve done so. To be quite honest, I feel rather unworthy of the follow after reading your incredible blog. I’m afraid mine comes across as somewhat corny at times, but I’ve no one to talk to about these corny things … hence, the blog. haha.

But your blog is incredible … You’re such an intriguing person with so many equally intriguing thoughts. I’d imagine you’d be fantastic to talk to in person. Thank you for stimulating some moments of rumination in my life. I spend a lot of time alone, and it’s nice to have interesting things to think about. πŸ™‚ I look forward to reading much more.

    Sam

    1. Thank you! I too spend a great deal of time by myself. Of course, I am a writer so I suppose it goes with the territory. You’re blog intrigued me because of the title. I’m a huge fan of Thoreau. After reading a few of your posts i can definitely say that it is far from corny, very refreshing to read pure thoughts, no matter the subject. I’m happy you like it here. Best wishes to you πŸ™‚

  109. Thank you very much for stopping by my blog and for following it. I’m excited to be “meeting” so many fine writers/poets and to see just how much exciting writing is out there to be read. And this is just in the past few days since I broke away my poetry from the rest of my posts. Hurray for all of us who dare to put our thoughts to paper.

  110. So I’ve been reading some of your posts, and I’m really enjoying them. Very interesting thoughts. I love this line from Hello Kansas: “I thought that this had to be the place where spirits come to play; to run free and grace the Earth with pure harmony.” Also, thanks so much for following my blog. I really appreciate it. =) I look forward to reading more of your posts.

  111. Thank you, Jeremiah, for visiting and following my blog. I’m intrigued by yours! I’d love to read more about that landscape behind you on the header photo.

  112. Thank you for visiting my blog and following me, I’ve been exploring your blog and you have such a unique way of looking at things which is very refreshing, and a way with words that makes me feel rather honoured with your follow and slightly shamefaced that my blog certainly doesn’t compare to yours! Thank you so much for your interest πŸ™‚ x I shall look forward to reading more from you x

  113. Thank you for following my blog. I came by to check your blog out and I have to say that I am blown away by your writing. I especially like the post “Express Yourself”, I plan to stop by often with a hot cup of tea and breath it all in. Until then …

  114. I just wanted to stop by and say thank you for the follow! I decided to look around your blog while I’m here…I’m enjoying what I see so far! *clicks “follow”* πŸ™‚

  115. Thanks for the follow! Apparently we were on the same page yesterday in thinking about man’s duality/polarity. I look forward to reading more of your work.

  124. Jeremiah,

Thanks for the popped by and like my post. And, I decided to drop by and have a look at yours. Right at the first log into your main page, I noticed it, ” Listen with the Heart, Express with the Soul” and I knew I am going to like what I see.

    Will be following.

p/s: with your permission, I might re-blog your quote above. πŸ™‚

    Cheers
    Happy Sunday!

  125. Hey thanks for following my blog. Mine is a fledgling blog, so every new follower is a big thing for me! feels nice to be followed by a “full-time writer”… πŸ™‚

  126. Thanks for following my blog! You’re my first follower πŸ™‚

  128. Jeremiah — Good stuff. I can just hear the gears whirring in your Soul. Thanking you for your LIKE, I wish you well on your own trip. Anybody who can recognize such social philosophers like Winnie the Pooh and Charles Schultz is already way ahead of the pack. Looking forward to watching your deepen. Thanks again. Dan

  129. Thanks for checking out my blog. Also thanks for sharing your voice. I like that phrase, “getting a few thoughts out of the basement.” I feel that as well, just bringing some thoughts to light to see if they’ll grow. If so, cool. If not, that’s cool too.
Keep steppin’ at your own pace.

  130. Hi Jeremiah,

Thank you for stopping by my blog and following. The need to get thoughts down in writing that might not make sense to anyone else, yep, that would make you a writer in my book. I’ll be back to check out more of your blog.

  131. Hey Jeremiah! Thank you for following my blog. You seem to have a great blog and wow, you have a lot of followers πŸ™‚ I like what is written here in your About page. Like you, it also doesn’t matter to me if one reads what I write or not, my blog exists because writing is therapeutic (keeps me sane) πŸ™‚ but if some find it interesting and helpful, then it’s awesome! πŸ™‚ I will come back and read more of your posts here. πŸ™‚ Thanks again!

  132. I don’t know if your an Erykah Badu fan at all, but she talks about her “cypher” a lot and it makes 360 degrees—a completeness of intellect. It all comes around to a full circle. Your concept of knowthesphere reminds me of that.

  133. Hi Jeremiah
Thank you for ‘liking’ my post, and thank you for ‘following’ my blog. But, most of all, thank you for introducing yourself, because I just love the way you write. – Vera

      1. How did you get started? I’ve written for my campus newspaper, maintained this blog and keep books of my own writings. I want get more of my work published, but don’t know where to start.

      2. I started small with newspapers and local publications, the moved to the web. There is a huge market for web content, though it isn’t very satisfying nor creative work. The best advice I can give is to get the current issue of Writer’s Market by Writer’s Digest. It has hundreds and hundreds of listings for writers along with here and how to sell your work. Basically, you need to query like a maniac to get work published. It is a constant hustle, but worth it if you have a passion for writing. Best of luck to you.

  134. Hi! Thanks for stopping by my blog. Reading your “about” page makes me feel like you’re a kindred spirit in the blogging world – sharing your travels, experience, wisdom with the possibility of those things speaking to others. That’s certainly how I feel about my own blog. I also like to be able to track in some ways how I got to where I am today. It’s the fun thing about writing…. I look forward to reading more of your writing, to follow your journey some. All the best!

  135. nominated you for the genuine blog and sunshine blog awards! Wheew–you have alot of comments on this page!

  136. Thanks for following my blog Long-Distance-Dad.com. I enjoy your thought-provoking posts!

  137. I enjoy your blog very much…. I nominated you for the Versatile Blogger award…..Thanks for sharing your heart mind and soul

  138. I’m grateful that you stopped by Jeremiah and even more so that you chose to follow. My beliefs are such that we are passionate today about today, but don’t forget yesterday or ignore tomorrow. Everything matters, everything is relevant, and everything contributes to who and what we are…ultimately we are what He has designed us to be. We are all in this together…no end…continuous…circle of life.

  139. Thanks for the follow. I have a question for you and no worries if you don’t want to share. A little bit of background. The reason I created my blog is because of a love of Colorado and all of its byways. I decided to do a two-year tour of all of those byways culminating in my 50-birthday. I couldn’t think of a nicer gift to myself…until I came up with the idea of not only recording the exploration, but also publishing it. Now, I know there are many self-publishers out there like “My Publisher”, but I had not considered Kindle and I was curious how that works. Would you be willing to share with me via email?

Either way, I will stick around to read your thoughts on spheres. πŸ™‚

  140. I like the fact that you reply to your ‘fans’. I wouldn’t have come across your blog if you haven’t ‘followed’ my blog. Thank you, it’s an honor! Beside that music blog, I have been writing for quite long time on my another blog, also sharing my inspirations. http://eskimobscure.wordpress.com/ – Hope you find it beneficial. =)

    Blessings,
    Y

      1. I’m sorry…can I ask u something? Are u Muslim? If u feel uneasy with my question..u can choose not to answer it. πŸ™‚

        Rani

      2. Okay…thank u for ur answer. I am so sorry if u feel uneasy about it. I am now reading your blog. It’s from ur heart πŸ™‚ so honest …

  141. Thank you so much for stopping by my blog and for the follow too. I enjoy your style of writing, it really appeals to the spiritual side of me. While my blog is mix of random ramblings and readables, it is also about me and being a work in progress… I think that’s what life is. So, that said, I find your writing incredibly sincere. I hope to see much more. Will be following you from now on…

  142. Thank you for following my blog, Jeremiah. I’m looking forward to enjoying your natural talent as reflected in your wonderful posts.

Thanks for visiting my blog and liking the post.

More importantly Thanks for leading me to your blog. Am really impressed by the topics and your style of putting the thoughts across. Frankly speaking, I had quickly brushed through some of the musings and I find them very deep and inspiring. Shall come back later to read them at leisure.

Thank you now in case I’m not around in forty years to say it again! JS>

it was a new and different information that I had never considered previously…also enjoyed β€œDancing on sand/Living for the now (another excerpt from my 1st draft)” β€” I appreciate your courage to create and to write in such versatile art forms!

    12. Jeremiah https://knowthesphere.wordpress.com Jeremiah, I found your writings so clear and full of mystery, enticing me to search for more understanding of all that you have written, and I am hoping I will have enough time to learn before I leave this planet!

    13. Andy http://dragoneystory.wordpress.com Andy, you have beautiful photographs and lovely thoughts to go with them! And I enjoyed the selection of videos incorporated into you blog! So cool!

    15. M M Mohan http://advocatemmmohanaksharaalu.wordpress.com/ M M Mohan, such deep and beautiful inspiring words you write!

    1. You’re welcome πŸ™‚ The only advice I can give is to write often, and write from the heart. Network with like minds, and enter into discourse. Be a voice, not just a page with words. Hope all is well!

  173. Jeremiah, thank you for visiting my blog & providing me with the opportunity to visit yours and to partake in the positive energy that you are providing to the world by virtue of it. I look forward to diving in deeper!

  174. Hi,
Thank you for following me and I hope you enjoy the frivolity that is my life and the what I would like to believe is a bit of wisdom that I have learned along the way.

  175. Hi there – I am working on converting my blog to a book and wondered how CreateSpace worked out for you. If you have any wisdom or particular suggestions, I would appreciate it.

    1. Sure.. CreateSpace is great.. The services they offer for the money are worth it, in my opinion. And I’ve heard Balboa Press is comparable. I would recommend using it. For me, it was a simple way to finally see the entire process of completing a book through from start to finish. A couple tips I learned: EDIT! Make sure you’ve fine tuned your digital file before submitting. They only allow a couple drafts to be submitted before charging you again for the service. Ensure that you’re happy with every comma, period, word, sentence and paragraph. I would also seek out help with a book cover like I did. They only have generic templates that do look decent, but having a personalized and professional cover does require a bit of outsourcing and I think is worth the time.

      1. Thank you for the sage advice. I am just beginning, slowly editing. I will take the time to thoroughly edit as suggested. Your cover advice definitely strikes a cord. I need help in that respect for sure. Thanks again – CMC

  176. I’m inspired by the voice in your writing and the eloquence of the words you chose. There is a flow to your words as well. Thanks for stopping in.

  177. Hey, Jeremiah! Thanks for the follow and for leading me to you and your work, work that’s not only fascinating, but excellent and compelling, too. Hey, how’s about I follow you now? I would like that very much. Done. πŸ™‚

  178. Thanks for following my blog! I hope you find some useful materials, whether that is just the shared life part, the theological ponderings, or the sound tech info. I’m not as active on here as I really should be, but more hits from people like you certainly help motivate me to do more!

  179. Hello Jeremiah,
Thanks so much for visiting my blog and following. I enjoyed so much what you had to say on the reason for writing your blog as an attempt to “get things out of the basement.” For me too, my blog is for ME. People assume those of us who blog do it for the attention or because we have the need to be seen or heard or whatever. I do this firstly for myself as a form of expression, to get the thoughts out of my head. If in doing that for me however, I can also inspire or speak to someone else, even better. Isn’t that what we were put here on this earth for after all? Thank you for inspiring me. I look forward to reading more from you my friend!

  180. Beautiful blog! Well written with a poetic intensity that I quite enjoy! Your vernacular is so very serene, yet intense, and I look forward to reading some more in the future. God bless and keep you and may your writings inspire thousands more to come πŸ™‚ By the way…thanks for visiting my blog and following.

  181. Awesome! Continued health and strength to us and ours, as we stay in the protective embrace of their grace… Ox, Elizabeth “Calebs” Romans 14:7,8. Psalms 103:1-5

  182. Hi Jeremiah,

Thank you for the follow and for the interest in my blog πŸ™‚ I can see you’re a wonderful writer and creative free spirit! Hope you have a blessed new year, keep up the good work πŸ™‚

  183. Hello…

Here’s a little New Years message from TΓΌrkiye to say β€œthank you”. I appreciate your recent β€˜follow’, knowing how many interesting and entertaining blogs there are out there.

Blogging since June 2013, my little corner of the world tries to offer an eclectic smattering of posts, from basic amateur photography, to sharing my travel adventures over the decades, as well as day to day happenings here on our fruit farm in southern Turkey. I also throw in a few of my observations on life and lighter-hearted stuff for good measure.

You are more than welcome to have a look around, stay a while and have a trawl through my small collection. There are plenty of categories within the drop-down menus to help in said digging process. Of course, if you have any comments, suggestions or concerns, feel free to let me know – I’m not easily offended πŸ™‚

Hope you have a great day and even better 2015…

    1. Thanks for stopping by! As a matter of fact, I’m currently finishing a manuscript a nearly halfway through the painful beginning of another. I imagine I’ll publish later this year, hopefully by August. Hope you had a good holiday season!

Many Blessings to you Jeremiah!

  185. Adding to the long list of comments…..I like your stated purpose for the blog. I started the blog peoplehistory for a similar reason…I too enjoy philosophising and thinking about things (usually activism/struggles) from a spiritually uplifting perspective. i like that we can ping our voices out into the ethernet and perhaps affect others in positive ways.

  186. Dear Jeremiah,

I wanted to write you as I found your blog through another blog and found it to be very heart felt and warm. One of the most amazing things about life is meeting unique people and they usually inspire and create a amazing adventure-you do this and I have chosen to follow your journey and hope to see you around on mine.

    With much love,
    Miss Popette x
